Shipping Policy

At Coral, we aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible while ensuring products are packed securely and delivered safely.
This Shipping Policy outlines how we process, dispatch and deliver orders.
Order Processing
Orders are generally processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Most in-stock orders are dispatched within 1–3 Business Days after payment has been received.
Custom manufactured, printed or special-order products require additional production time, which will be advised at the time of quotation or order confirmation.
Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.
Dispatch Times
Dispatch times vary depending on the product ordered.
Typical dispatch times are:
- Stocked products: 1–3 Business Days
- Custom printed products: As advised on your quotation or order confirmation
- Special order products: Subject to supplier lead times
- Made-to-order products: Subject to manufacturing schedules
Estimated dispatch times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed.
Delivery Times
Delivery times depend on your location and the shipping service selected.
Typical Australian delivery times are:
- Metropolitan areas: 1–5 Business Days
- Regional areas: 2–10 Business Days
- Remote locations: May require additional time
International delivery times vary depending on destination, customs processing and the selected freight service.
All delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are outside Coral's control.
Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are calculated based on factors including:
- destination;
- package size;
- package weight;
- shipping method; and
- the products ordered.
Shipping costs will be displayed during checkout or included on your quotation.
Additional freight charges may apply for oversized, bulky or heavy items.
Freight Carriers
Coral may use a range of freight providers including:
- Australia Post
- StarTrack
- TNT
- FedEx
- DHL
- Couriers Please
- Aramex
- Team Global Express
- Other commercial freight carriers
We reserve the right to select the most appropriate carrier for each shipment unless otherwise agreed.
Authority to Leave
Where Authority to Leave (ATL) is requested or selected, the shipment will be left at the delivery address if deemed safe by the carrier.
Once delivered under an Authority to Leave instruction, Coral accepts no responsibility for:
- theft;
- weather damage;
- loss after delivery; or
- damage occurring after delivery.
Delivery Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Coral is not responsible for delays, losses or additional freight costs resulting from:
- incorrect addresses;
- incomplete addresses;
- failed delivery attempts; or
- incorrect contact details.
Additional freight charges incurred due to incorrect delivery information may be payable by the customer.
Split Shipments
Where an order contains products with different availability or manufacturing lead times, Coral may, at its discretion:
- ship the order in multiple consignments; or
- hold the order until all items are available.
Additional freight charges will not be applied unless agreed with the customer.
International Orders
Customers are responsible for ensuring products comply with the import requirements of their destination country.
International customers are responsible for:
- customs duties;
- import taxes;
- VAT/GST;
- brokerage fees;
- quarantine fees;
- import permits; and
- any other government charges.
These charges are not included unless expressly stated.
Customs Delays
International shipments may be delayed by customs authorities.
Coral has no control over customs clearance processes and accepts no responsibility for delays arising from customs inspections or government agencies.
Risk and Ownership
Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when the Goods are delivered to the freight carrier or collected by the customer.
Ownership of Goods remains with Coral until payment has been received in full, in accordance with our Website Terms of Use & Conditions of Sale.
Freight Damage
Please inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival.
If your shipment arrives damaged:
- note the damage with the delivery driver where possible;
- take photographs of the packaging and products;
- retain all packaging materials; and
- contact Coral within 7 days of delivery.
Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted by the freight carrier.
Missing or Incorrect Items
If you receive:
- an incorrect product;
- missing items; or
- a shipment that appears incomplete,
please notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing sales@coral.com.au.
Please include:
- your order number;
- photographs (if applicable); and
- a description of the issue.
Delivery Delays
While Coral endeavours to dispatch orders promptly, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- severe weather;
- industrial action;
- carrier delays;
- customs inspections;
- supplier delays;
- pandemics;
- government actions;
- transport disruptions;
- natural disasters; or
- other force majeure events.
Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Failed Deliveries
If a shipment is returned to Coral because:
- delivery was refused;
- the address supplied was incorrect;
- the parcel was not collected from the carrier; or
- delivery could not be completed,
the customer may be responsible for:
- return freight charges;
- redelivery charges; and
- any additional handling costs.
Order Collection
Where collection has been arranged, customers will be notified when their order is ready.
Orders should be collected within a reasonable period after notification.
Photo identification may be requested upon collection.
Inspection of Goods
Customers should inspect all Goods immediately upon receipt.
Any issues should be reported promptly to sales@coral.com.au.
Failure to inspect Goods within a reasonable period may affect our ability to investigate freight-related claims.
